 * * ASHEN for MC 1.20 * *
     release v1.1

	- Thanks for checking out Ashen. This pack is still in its early stages, and will likely see a revamp of many of its
		textures at some point (animated textures like lava, water, and seagrass are particularly likely to be redone
		eventually). This is my first real foray into pixel art and pack work, so much will likely change as my own
		skills and techniques evolve. If you have any feedback, please don't hesitate to drop me a line on the
		project's Curseforge, Modrinth, or PlanetMinecraft pages, or the pack's Discord server: https://discord.gg/yuwrZQpGDk

	- This pack is mostly intended to respect Vanilla Minecraft's fantasy style, but with my own approach to it. I try to
		reserve more high-fantasy textures for otherworldly blocks and concepts -- anything relating to the Nether,
		for instance, is intended to read as more alien than overworld blocks, which I hope to keep more "down-to-earth."

 * * Add-Ons & Optional Features * *

	- In addition to the main Ashen pack, I've also created some extras to allow users to tailor their experience a bit more to
		their own preferences. Links to these extra packs can be found on the main Ashen Curseforge page, as well as the
		Discord server mentioned above. I've included a brief outline below of the current add-on packs, as well as plans I
		have for future addons.

			* Autumn Forest [Resource Pack; compatible with MC 1.19]
				- This pack adds a number of biome-specific textures for certain plants and leaves. Most notably,
					it recolors birch leaves in Birch Forests and Taigas to be golden, like quaking aspen trees.
					If you've played Skyrim, think of the trees in the Rift. It also changes some flowers in
					colder biomes to Lupines (mostly replacing Poppies, as well as Alliums in Meadows biomes).
					Most leaves (Oak, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, and Mangrove) are recolored to be red in several
					biomes, further building on the Autumn theme. Most of this add-on's features depend on CTM,
					meaning you'll need a mod like Optifine or Continuity+Colormatic* to get the most out of
					the Add-On.

					* As of this release, Colormatic has not been updated to recent versions. As a result, the red
					  leaves that Autumn Forest is intended to add are non-functional without Optifine. The rest
					  of the add-on should work as intended, however.

			* Simple Foliage [Resource Pack; compatible with MC 1.19]
				- Since Ashen's "bushy" leaves may not be everyone's cup of tea (and aren't exactly compatible with
					Fast Graphics), the Simple Foliage add-on reverts the leaves to Vanilla-style leaf models.
					This pack is fully compatible with the Autumn Forest add-on, and the order in which you
					load them doesn't seem to matter (at least as far as my testing has shown).

 * * Disclaimers & Troubleshooting * *

	- I have taken a good chunk of inspiration from Maffhew's "Excalibur" (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/excalibur),
		Stitch's "Faithless" (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/faithless), and Jicklus's, well, "Jicklus"
		(https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/jicklus). Go check them out, they're all fantastic packs by great people.
		My original inspiration, though, was Rhodox's "Painterly Pack," which was my go-to texture pack when I first started playing
		the game back in 2011. Unfortunately, Rhodox's site has since closed down, so the pack is no longer really available.
		To my mind, it was a classic.
		Pour one out.

	- This pack is intended to be used alongside Fancy Graphics. If your bushy leaves appear dark and lack transparency/detail,
		this is a result of Fast Graphics. If you can't use Fancy Graphics, or if you do not want to have "bushy" leaves,
		you can find an add-on pack available in the Ashen Discord server. Place this above Ashen in your load order to
		revert the leaf blocks to their Vanilla-style models. These models will still retain their random rotation and variants.
